Sometimes it’s us
Making time to hike had been difficult lately. We finally made the time but I think we weren’t necessarily into it. I don’t think either of us enjoyed it much and I wasn’t really inspired to take many photos. There nothing wrong with Herman Creek (maybe the first 2 miles is a bit of a grind), but we just weren’t that into it.
Herman Creek is compared to Eagle Creek by some folks, but the only similarities I could see are that they both go up the east side of a creek. I never got a good look at Herman Creek and the forests are notably younger. There were a few waterfalls and tributaries that were pretty cool though. Maybe we can come back here when we have more energy to spend exploring.
