Spectacular hike on a classic trail in the Columbia River Gorge
This hike is always wonderful. If you can get out there on a rainy weekday in the winter, you’ll only see a few people. On a hot summer day, it’s a bit really fucking crowded.
It’s a nice flattish hike through some of the best scenery in the Gorge with (one of the most photogenic) waterfalls, cliffs, vistas, and ancient forests. There is a falling hazard too, so keep the kids close and dogs on a leash.
It was a bit chilly and rainy which made it just about perfect for us.
