Doesn’t Live Up to its Name
We had to come back for a redo after the Thanksgiving disappointment. This hike is much like the rest of the coastal state park hikes, nice old-growth, a few more people than you’d like, great scenery, etc.
I finally got down to Deadman’s Cove which was worth the side trip. It’s small and while it’s certainly not any sort of wilderness experience, it’s really beautiful.
Don’t photograph it at the time of day I did, otherwise you’ll have to fudge it and make it black and white in an attempt to hide the exposure issues.
You will need to create an account and/or login to see the map with hike track and photo locations.
