It’s been a while.
After a long 2 month hiatus from hiking, we finally got out. Kate really liked Wy’east Basin last time so I though this would be a good spot to return. The avalanche lilies were probably over 90% gone, but there were still some nice spots as you can see.
The snow combined with lack of hiking fitness turned us back before we could get anywhere more ambitious than Wy’east Basin, so we’ll have to come back here at least a few more times; to get to Dollar Lake, Eden Park, and maybe McNeil Point.
