More Coastal Old-Growth
We’d already done bits of this hike before but hadn’t been able to link some of the best parts together until now.
There are 2 capes at Cape Falcon and we just weren’t able to connect them. Oswald West State Park has some of the best (only) coastal old-growth remaining in Oregon which makes it really special.
We were both tired and rushed for time, but enjoyed it. There was some blowdown from this winter’s storms that made for some interesting detours; we even lost the tread a couple of times.
