Opening closed doors.
We’ve been bouldering on plastic for 2 years and Kate hasn’t once pulled down on real rock; I haven’t climbed on real rock in over 14 years.
As previous experience told me, bouldering is very hard and can be terrifying. We didn’t have a crash pad or a rope and harnesses, but were able to find a few boulders with good landings and were both able to climb at least 1 problem. It was nice to be back at Smith Rock, I look forward to more visits in the near future.
