Snowy Sandy Ridge

Hike number three. Towards the Cascade foothills to avoid the east winds.

We tried to get to the Salmon River Trail but ran into snow. We had a false start at what ended up being a non-trail. In the end, we decided to head over to the Sandy Ridge trailhead. There was only one car parked at the trailhead so we weren’t going to run into many mountain bikers there. Because of the late start we had to cut the hike short, but we did get to hike on snow the whole time.
