Connections
I’ve tried to not repeat any hikes since we started, but this may be the first full repeat that we’ve done.
Last time there was nice cooling marine layer on the way up with a warm sunny reward at the top. This time it was sunny the whole way.
While hanging out at the summit I ran into another wildlife biologist who has worked for the same company I have. We almost crossed paths in 2001 when we both worked on the same project, just a month apart.
Probably the best part was his 11 year old daughter who hardly stopped talking once she discovered Kate would listen to her. She even waited for us when Kate had to slow down. It made for a quick descent.
