Brushy and muddy
But not too busy. Had the day to ourselves but for the last 1/4 mile. All the neat stuff is near the top so if you really want to check it out, maybe go in from the road at the top. I prefer the main hike here or here because of the elk and the views, but now that I have to hike on weekends, I want to try to avoid crowds.
Not the oldest old-growth but it’s interesting nonetheless.
