Tamanawas Falls is a pretty popular hike and maybe a favorite of mine. Cold Spring Creek is pretty and the rocky area adds nice variety.
My sister and her husband came for a short visit and we were able to do Women’s Forum, Crown Point, Latourell Falls, Multnomah Falls, drive through Hood River, hike to Tamanawas Falls, and get to Timberline Lodge all in about 7 or 8 hours. If most of the Gorge weren’t closed, I’m sure we wouldn’t have covered all that ground in a day.
